Register today to be part of Glasgow Roller Derby’s next generation of skaters!

Are you looking to try something new to keep fit and have fun? Have you been to one of our games and thought “I’d like to have a go at that”? If so, then why not come along and try one of the fastest growing sports in Europe?!

Roller derby is a fast-paced, tactical, full contact sport played on roller skates. There is absolutely no skating experience required to sign up – even if you’ve never stood on skates before, our 15 week course will teach you all the basics from standing up, stopping, skating styles, jumping, backwards skating and more!

The first session is free, followed by a three week trial period which costs £20 and should be paid for in cash. Thereafter dues are £30/month or £20/month for full-time students/unemployed/those receiving benefits. There are twice weekly sessions, on Sunday afternoons and Tuesday evenings.

If you have any questions at all about the course/roller derby/where to buy skates/etc, send an email via this page and we'll get you sorted!
**please check out 5th Blocker Skates who have a skate shop in Glasgow city centre, and online - they will sort you out with everything you need and know their stuff!**

Please be aware that you must be 18 years or over to take part, and you will need to bring your own skates and safety equipment (mouth guard, knee & elbow pads, wrist guards) to attend the session.

Sunday sessions will be at the Arc: Health & Fitness and all Tuesdays at The Firhill Complex ***
